A civil engineer air advisor for the 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, California, had been looking forward to visiting his hometown in Texas for a relaxing Labor Day weekend with family and friends, but instead his plans quickly changed when Hurricane Harvey made landfall in East Texas.
